Review
So, All Is Well is a film that literally takes
you back. Inder (Abhishek) grows up seeing his parents Bhajanlal Bhalla
(Rishi) and Pammi (Supriya) clash through a stormy marriage. Breaking
away, Inder abandons his parents in Kasol to make a musical career in
Thailand where he dates Nimmi (Asin) but hates the thought of shaadi.
Nimmi leaves for an arranged marriage in India. Inder goes along to sign
on property papers – which are actually needed to repay don Cheema
(Mohammed Zeeshan).
As his bitterly bickering parents, Inder and Nimmi try to shake off
chasing Cheema, Inder discovers a few home truths – but can he make all
well?
All Is Well’s performances warm it – Rishi Kapoor gleams as small-town
sourpuss Bhalla, who loves his failing bakery but dislikes his family.
Abhishek Bachchan provides a terrific foil as wry, dry Inder, whose
anger is ignited by hurtful memories and who now wounds with his cold,
sharp words. Abhishek pulls off drawling tension against Rishi’s flowing
abandon – while Mohammed Zeeshan contributes a comically crackling
Cheema, a don with an unloaded gun, goons who won’t push ‘gaimata’ out
of the way and no balance to make threat calls on his phone.
Asin has a petite role but Surpriya Pathak’s totally wasted, limited to
wincing or looking blank, sound editing frequently inserting groans upon
her silent face.
Technical shabbiness is the film’s weakest link. There are plot glitches
and dated touches. At times, as the vintage QSQT hit 'Aye Mere
Humsafar' plays, you feel you’re watching a 1990s movie where the hero
is told, ‘Teri awaaz mein dard hai’ and everyone wears shoulder pads.
There’s also a bizarre sequence involving a mercenary maami, which
stretches beyond the film’s otherwise gentle humour.
All Is Well lacks the cutting-edge sharpness or glittering depth of
Umesh Shukla’s OMG. With its old-world feel, it’s not a cool cocktail
but a teashop bun, dunked in sentimental tea. It could’ve been way
better – but there’s some sweetness too in this simple treat.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan Reviews
Despite being a Salman fan I was not too impressed with some of his recent flicks which in my humble opinion lacked freshness or had mindless direction, so when a family member bought tickets for this movie I didn't go in with high expectations. But to you dear reader I'll say GO WITH HIGH EXPECTATIONS! It will not disappoint!
And more importantly go with your heart - that is all you need for this 2.5 hours long film to become one of the best you've seen in years. It's just one of those movies with such heart-tugging moments and the highlight - the bond between Pawan (Salman) and Shahida (Harshali) - which is such a delight to see that you forget all about plot, logic, direction - not to say that the movie lacks that. The perfection in execution is definitely there, especially in the second-half. I watched it in the AVX theatre with at least 500 others and from the sound of it at least 75% of them regardless of age or gender were crying from the intermission onwards - sometimes because it was sad and other times because the screenplay was just so pure and unfiltered that it just made these happy tears bubble up inside of you.

A dispute between brothers spans across two generations. This is part 1 of a 2 part period drama. Part 1 shows the brothers Baahubali and Bhallaladeva fight for the throne to Mahishmathi Kingdom.
Director: S.S. Rajamouli
Writers: Vijayendra Prasad (story), S.S. Rajamouli(screenplay).
Story
A wounded woman (Ramya Krishnan) carrying a baby in her arms, wading through a river under a massive waterfall is being chased by a bunch of soldiers. After attacking a few, with no where to go, in order to save the child, who she names Mahendra Baahubali, she decides to drown herself in the water while holding the child above it. She proclaims she will not let anything happen to the child come what may. At sunrise, a few villagers spot the child stranded alive in the middle of a river. Sanga(Rohini) and her husband rescue the infant and raise him as their own.
The boy grows up to be the mighty Shivudu (Prabhas), who aspires to climb the waterfall to see what lies up there. His curiosity irks his mother as it could be dangerous. After many failed attempts he finally makes it to the top. Looking for the owner (Tamannaah as Avantika) of a mysterious mask which falls on his lap, he discovers unlike the lady of his dreams, she is a rebellious warrior fighting against the tyrannical king Bhallala Deva (Rana Daggubati), who has captured queen Devasena (Anushka Shetty) and has been torturing her for the past 25 years. Her group indulges in guerrilla warfare against the king to rescue the queen.
While initially she doubts Shiva's intentions, on seeing her mask with him, she realises he is innocent. The two fall in love and Shiva pledges to help her in her mission. He sneaks into Bhallala Deva's Mahishmati kingdom to rescue Devasena but gets caught. The king's loyal guard Kattapa (Sathyaraj) attacks Shivudu but given his strength, and after seeing his face realises Shivudu is the late king Amarendra Bahubaali's (Prabhas) son and deserving heir to the Mahishmati kingdom.
The story then goes into a flashback showing Amarendra Baahubali as a noble king and Bhallala Deva his cousin. Though Bhallaladeva's father Bajjala Deva (Nassar) is the elder brother, Shivudu's grandfather is crowned as the king since he is more worthy. Bajjala resents this decision as he thinks this happened because of his handicap. After his brother (the king) dies, Bajjala wishes his son Bhallala to be the new emperor but the late king's wife before dying gives birth to Amarendra Baahubali, another heir to the kingdom.
Bajjala's wife Sivagami (Ramya Krishnan) is feisty, fair and impartial. She raises both the children Bhallaladeva and Baahubali as her own and proclaims that whoever proves to be more deserving will be crowned as the new king. Bajjala and Bhallala's tactics fail as after witnessing an epic battle against their tribal rivals, Sivagami announces Baahubali to be the new king as he cares for his people and announces that Bhallaladeva is to be made into the commander-in-chief of the army.
While sharing this truth, Kattapa is interrupted by Shiva who asks that if his father was so strong who killed him. Kattapa, (with tears in his eyes) reveals that he was the killer.

REVIEW
Hero is a delectable synthesis of startling onscreen beauty, dazzling high octane action, melodious music and merry froth. Each frame of the film has been done up with care which is evident in its striking visuals. However, the same doesn't stand true for the story, which is incoherent and often convoluted.Cut out from the same fabric as Subhash Ghai's 1983 hit of the same name, director Nikhil Advani creates a similar effervescent ambience as the original, bubbling with the energy of its young debutants. Nikhil makes the narrative contemporary without turning it into a ramshackle (an inevitable fate of classics, when remade). The film has so much going in its favour, that the screenplay glitches can be pardoned.
Hero is fuzzy and moving. It has a leading man whose charm will make your heart skip a beat, a defiant damsel who is lovable and a story laden with commercial trappings of naach-gaana and maar-dhaar. The thunderous power-packed action sequences, especially the one in its climax, is pitch perfect and makes you feel the giddiness synonymous with Salman Khan films.
